Through our Land Condition Community, a special interest group for those working in the sector, we have launched a brand new workshop series for members in the early stages of their career (first 10 years). This brand new forum, the Land Condition Early Careers Network, will provide IES Associate and Full members with a platform to network with peers, improve particular skills and gain valuable CPD which can later be used as evidence of development when re-grading your membership.
The network will meet for the first time on 21st January in London at the WSP Aldgate offices. The first few meetups will address presentation skills and techniques providing members with a platform to practice these skills in front of a small, supportive and friendly audience.
At each meetup we will hear from a guest speaker who will present on a topical issue. To kick things off, Adam Sokolowski, Associate Director at TRC Solutions and a founding member of the Land Condition Community, will explore what the anatomy of a land condition professional looks like.
Do you have early career professionals in your team?
Encourage your colleagues to present at this meetup. Presentation slots are 15-minutes long and can be on any topic of interest from an interesting case study, a technical project or a discussion around how to manage client expectations.
There are only three slots available so email Rhianna to secure your place.
Book your place
To ensure we maintain a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment, spaces are limited to approximately 40 attendees at each meetup.
These meetups are free for IES Associate or Full members in the early stages of their career. Make sure to book your place soon and utilise this opportunity to help shape the future of the land condition sector.
