Mentoring scheme

What is mentoring

Mentoring is the development of a professionally-supportive relationship between two individuals. It covers a broad spectrum of activities with the ultimate aim of helping the mentee to achieve their professional development goals. Mentoring is an opportunity for experienced individuals to share their insight and advice with others looking to break into the environmental sector or reach their next career goal. In return, mentors gain insight into new developments in the sector, build on their leadership and communication skills.

Check out the IES Mentoring Handbook for more details about how the platform works and how to sign up.
