Winchester City Council manages a wide variety of services. We have responsibility for planning, housing, waste collection, Council Tax and Business Rates collection, leisure services, tourism, benefits administration and many more services. 

Our Air Quality & Climate Change Team is headed by an experienced Business Unit Leader and comprises Principal, Senior and Junior consultants. Our new team members will work primarily on air quality monitoring and air quality assessments for infrastructure and property projects. This will include air quality monitoring, data processing and reporting, air pollutant dispersion modelling and the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

The Board of the OEP is its body corporate in law, to whom its legal functions and responsibilities are assigned. The Board sets the strategic direction of the organisation. It ensures the correct, efficient and effective use of the OEP’s resources, including its public funding.

The Board of the OEP includes a non-executive chair and between four and nine other members, with the majority of members being non-executives. The non-executive members are crucial in constructively challenging and holding to account the executive members.
