Each year, we survey our members to identify trends in how different services are valued and to gather members’ opinions on potential future developments. Here we are pleased to present the findings of our 2018 membership survey.
Members highly value our reports, guidance and other publications with 92% of respondents rating them as 'very important' or 'important'. As usual, the environmental SCIENTIST journal was rated highly, as were our important Chartership opportunities. This year we are increasing the availability of our CEnv in a day workshops, with more sessions available than ever before and the additional option to gain your chartered status in Manchester this summer.
This year we hosted 8 webinars on topics ranging from clean coal to our reliance on plastics, these have become increasingly popular, so much so that a third of all of our web traffic is directed towards watching them. Furthermore, 96% of respondents rated the IES office's ability to answer their query as 'excellent' or 'good', reflecting our commitment to excellent customer service.
A couple of years ago we introduced the Net Promoter Score to our membership survey, which is a measure of how many people would recommend the IES to a friend or colleague. We have continued on the success of last year with another impressive NPS score of 43.
