Your chance to join the IES staff team

Rows of colourful chairs

We are currently recruiting for an Events & Training Officer/Lead, who will be responsible for curating an events and training programme that appeals to the interests of our members and engages with emerging topics in environmental science. The successful candidate will work closely with our Communities (member special interest groups) and the IES staff team to lead our highly regarded events calendar, including conferences, webinars and training events. This is a full-time position, and the job can be carried out remotely, or from our office in Shoreditch, London. We are flexible about the days spent in office.

This is a multi-skilled position and we recognise that no candidate is likely to have all the desirable skills. Studies have shown that women, people of colour and historically underrepresented talent are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single requirement. At the IES we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement listed, we strongly encourage you to apply.
