What IES members think about shale gas

Fracking has not been far from the front pages of the news since 2007, but with the recent budget further incentivising oil and gas exploration the IES decided to canvas opinion on the future of domestic shale gas production in the UK.

Poll results

The online poll has now closed, with the majority of respondents believing that domestic shale gas will be part of Britain's future energy mix but that it will generally have negative impacts.
