EAUC has announce the launch of this year’s Green Gown Awards with Stage 1 applications now open.

Open to post-16 educational institutions and third party organisation, this is a chance for IES accredited universities to shout about their sustainability excellence.

Now in their 8th year, the Green Gown Awards recognise the exceptional sustainability initiatives being undertaken by universities and colleges across the UK. With sustainability moving up the agenda, the Awards have become established as the most prestigious recognition of best practice within the further and higher education sector.

The Awards cover 14 categories including 2 new for 2012 and 3 categories competing for a coveted new International Award with the UK and Australasia. All the application materials, including a resource bank full of inspiration and tips to create a winning entry, can be found on the EAUC website.
