Since March, many of us have found ourselves adapting to new ways of working including remote video meetings and conference calls. We're now intimately familiar with technical difficulties, the occasional child/pet interruptions and the phrase "you're still on mute...". As lockdown eases, some of you may find yourselves in need of a physical meeting space for project meetings or discussions that require a bit more of a personal touch. We also recognise that some companies may have taken the decision not to continue with their place of work and, as such, physical meeting spaces are harder to come by.
The IES is here to support you. We have taken every step and precaution to ensure our office is COVID-19 secure, allowing us to re-open our meeting rooms for hire. We have introduced maximum occupancy limits for these rooms, hand-sanitising stations and new cleaning measures in the communal and common touch point areas of the building. We are also paying close attention to the latest Government advice regarding gatherings and staying safe. Our meeting rooms are now available for hire with an added 50% discount for our Associate, Full Member and Fellowship members who contact us directly. This reduces the price of our beautiful Fjord meeting room (up to 6 people in boardroom style, or 12 in theatre style) to just £20/hour or £160 for the day, and our quiet and peaceful Fjell meeting room (up to 2 people) to only £12/hour or £95 for the day, with the following features included with your booking:
- Room for individuals to be seated at a safe social distance;
- Free WiFi;
- 65-inch TV (or projector in the Fjell);
- COVID-19 secure air-con;
- Whiteboard; and
- Tea and coffee.
