This year's Burntwood Lecture will be held on the evening of 19th November at the Institute of Physics' brand new office in London.
The Burntwood Lecture is the IES's flagship event which honours Lord Burntwood, the Institution's first Chair, who served in the Labour Government from 1964 to 1970.
The Lecture provides an opportunity for eminent speakers to talk on a current, critical, and often controversial, environmental theme. The invited audience, numbering around 150, come from the environmental professions, universities and government. The evening includes canapés, drinks and plenty of opportunities to network.
