Since the official handover of the Foundation for Water Research (FWR) in July, the IES has begun launching a series of water-related events, initiatives and outputs. As part of this work, we are delighted to publish the first FWR newsletter (pdf) under IES editorialship, which is introduced by Professor Carolyn Roberts, Vice President of the IES.

The IES is excited to continue the journey and evolution of the FWR, which over the years has disseminated crucial water knowledge to the environmental sector. As part of this journey, we will be updating the newsletter format in future editions to reflect the contemporary range of issues within the industry. Released on a triannual basis, the newsletters shall continue the FWR legacy by covering the most pressing and relevant water topics.

To encourage engagement with these exciting outputs, we invite members and non-members alike to sign up to the newsletter. We also welcome proposed article contributions to the newsletter, which can be sent at any time to publications@the-ies.org.
