In October, the IES passed the significant milestone of 500 Chartered Environmentalists on its register.
Applying our support-speed-rigour framework, the IES has worked hard to ensure that we are the best place for professional environmentalists to achieve their Chartered Environmentalist designation.
Over the past two years, 93 people have achieved their CEnv status through our popular workshop route. To help establish the next wave of Chartered Members, we are currently training a new group of assessors. There is a far better regional distribution of these new assessors meaning that, from next year, not all candidates will need to come to London to do a face-to-face interview. Our Chartership Mentoring Scheme will also be launching shortly, matching experienced CEnvs with aspirant candidates.
