We are serious about our responsibility for your personal and professional development, and try to ensure that you are equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience to succeed in your current role, and also to progress in your career. Our benefits package is designed to boost and maintain the health, well being and general quality of life of all our staff.

In Bath and North East Somerset, we are wholly committed to bring cleaner air to our communities through the introduction of our Clean Air Zone in Bath and Air Quality Management Areas.

An opportunity has emerged for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Environmental Protection Team, to support our monitoring and evaluation agenda for the Clean Air Zone. You will play a key role in assisting with the process for obtaining and appropriately managing the monitoring data received, which will include both air quality and traffic flow data. Your activities will include undertaking various types of sampling and ensuring that our air quality monitors are calibrated so you will have a good working knowledge of air quality management.

You will be someone who can work closely with colleagues, who is a motivated individual, resilient and can elevate data, and assist in preparing reports. Above all, you will display the essential attitude to get things done.
