This webinar will be provide an exploration of the concept of uncertainty and how it is addressed in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, contrasting traditional approaches as mediated in the courts, and analytical modeling. The webinar will go on to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence in the EIA process and in supporting digital planning.

Our speaker

Sue Chadwick is a planning solicitor and academic, with professional experience in the public and private sector and a PhD in planning law. She produced a paper on digital planning following her post-doctorial fellowship with the Open Data Institute and has since focussed on data ethics  in the built environment. She is a Member of the London Data Board, Brent Council Data Ethics Board, Profusion Data Ethics Advisory Board and the Linear Infrastructure Planning Panel and the Chair of the RED Foundation data ethics steering group and the Business LDN data working group
