Our client is a leading air quality consultancy providing specialist air quality consultancy services in the UK and overseas to a range of clients including industry, developers, local authorities and central Government. They frequently provide expert evidence at Public Inquires and are involved in working groups on air quality management and assessment. Due to expansion of the business they are now seeking an Air Quality Consultant to work as part of the team based in Avon. 

The role will be focused on the preparation of air quality assessments for new developments and will include collation of monitoring data, use of models and preparation of reports suitable for submission to local authorities. The successful candidate will need to be able to work both on their own and as part of a team. They will need to show good communication skills, both orally and in writing, as well as a high technical capability and ability to review and interpret data. 

The ideal qualification required is an MSc or higher in an appropriate science-based discipline, preferably with experience of air quality. A high level of computer literacy is required, together with the ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate reports. Membership of a relevant professional institution, such as IAQM, would be an advantage.
